Charlotte Handel

MFT

My educational and professional background has afforded me the experience of working with a vast array of clientele and has allowed me to recognize the importance of flexibility and adaptability as a therapist. I became a therapist out of a deep love and respect for the field; I believe good therapy changes lives in ways that can resonate through generations.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Human Services at the University of North Georgia, M.A. in Human Services at the University of North Georgia, and M.A. in Marriage Family Therapy at Liberty University. Currently, I am a School-Based Mental Health Therapist for CHRIS180 and a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT). I am also a Human Service Board Certified Practitioner (HS-BCP).I am interested in treating a wide array of issues, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, grief, loss, trauma-related issues, and domestic violence. I am interested in working with children, teens, adults, couples, families, and the LGBTQ+ community.

My goals are to provide therapy services to various individuals regarding improving mental health, physical health, and personal growth, thereby improving overall well-being. I enjoy crafting, health/fitness, cooking, reading, and spending time with my family in my free time.
